While many players are eagerly awaiting the launch of Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood, It looks like there’s still content to tide on them in Heavensward. Square Enix incorporates a status releasing frequent updates on their game, and have successfully turned the most significant AAA failures (With 1.0) into one of several top MMORPGs out there. On January 17th, players is able to experience patch 3.5 – The Far Aspect Fate. Square Enix gave specifics of the patch in the pr release this morning:
“The Warrior of Light will be able to scale Baelsar’s Wall, the large structure that separates the Garlean Empire-controlled territories and the three city-states of Eorzea?. Players will also resume Sohm Al to help expand explore the holy ground from the dragons. Additionally, Patch 3.5 will feature the latest chapter in the Shadows of Mhach storyline with alliance raid, a fresh primal combat Zurvan, the last an associate the Warring Triad, and also new exploratory missions.”
Accompanying these exciting content additions is usually a long-desired updated to the party finder system. Finally players from the same data group should be able to connect to the same party finder and join parties. One issue that lots of MMORPGs, including Final Fantasy XIV, have struggled with is surely an imbalance in population across servers. Usually the large tastes players will flock to 1 or two servers since there’s a good number of action, leaving numerous other servers neglected and empty. By adding a cross-server system in Final Fantasy XIV for filling groups will hopefully allow you to complete content if you’re but not on one of several super populated and progressed worlds.
One minor but significantly annoying aspect of Final Fantasy XIV was the fact that you couldn’t queue for the Duty in your chocobo companion as your faithful companion. With 3.5 this tends to not be a worry, making it easier for players to solo and work towards leveling while they’re inside queue for just a dungeon or raid. Frontline and Duel modes in PVP might be updated, and new maps are coming over to The Feast!
