The cofounder with the Android operating system, Andy Rubin, is having a new company along with a “new style of smartphone”.? This smartphone is reportedly a premium device that has an edge-to-edge display and lacks a surrounding bezel. Rubin’s new clients are called Essential, and he’s currently prepared to produce a formal announcement and lead the startup as CEO.
According to a article by Bloomberg, Essential has lots of products in the work, including cellular phones and smart home gadgets. Among the many devices will probably be a high-end smartphone that should reportedly tackle Apple’s iPhone 7, Samsung’s Galaxy S7, google’s Pixel along with top-of-the-line devices. Rubin is aiming for a mid-2017 release window for your phone, and is reportedly already in talks with Foxconn to fabricate it.
The company has at least one prototype phone in development that includes a larger display but smaller overall size than the iPhone 7 because of the fact that there’s no surrounding bezel. The provider is also trying using a “3D touch” feature which would permit the smartphone to detect varying degrees of pressure to the touchscreen.
