Following Nintendo’s live stream within the Nintendo Switch presentation, many new trailers for a variety of games have been released. One of those being ‘Sonic Mania’, a vintage sonic game to be released to the Nintendo Switch this year.
From watching the trailer, fans could see that your developers have gone back and brought inspiration with the old Sonic games, using simpler graphics in comparison with previously released Sonic games (which have experienced mixed reactions from fans).
The game also emulates the main 2D gameplay, something the older Sonic series enjoys, that has many fans supporting Sega’s decision release a the overall game.
The trailer features new zones and three playable characters, those being Sonic, Tails and Knuckles the Echidna. The experience is anticpated to be released in Spring, and likewise is supplied in a Collector’s Edition for $69.99.
In other Sonic news, an extra game can be been slotted to release on the end of the year, titled Sonic Project 2017. Little info is known about the action, however both this project and Sonic Mania should be released within the Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Ms windows.
