Final Fantasy is among the most iconic and celebrated computer game series throughout history, and whenever Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of Final Fantasy, announces that he’s focusing on a different title, it’s time and energy to get excited. Sakaguchi parted ways with Square (Now called Square Enix after a merger the government financial aid 2003) during the early 2000s and made to found the video game development company Mistwalker when using the financial resources of Microsft Game Studios. This departure signifies that there’s no chance we need to expect a completely new Final Fantasy title, but Sakaguchi’s recent reputation leaves plenty to be psyched about.

Mistwalker, under Hironobu Sakaguchi’s leadership, developed such classics as Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and The Last Story, ?all successful and well-loved RPGs in themselves. The building studio’s most recent offering is Terra Battle, a tactical tile-based role playing game for iOS and Android.

Terra Battle’s launch was slightly unique, as Sakaguchi took a Kickstarter-esque approach – adding goals and milestones at certain download numbers for you to encourage players to download the video game whilst playing. The majority of the goals were music-related, with compositions from the famed Nobuo Uematsu, Kenji Ito, and Yoko Shimomura preparing the soundtrack as the game continued to arrive at milestones. The eventual milestone for the launch was the release of Terra Battle on consoles, so there’s a possible chance that that’s the title we can expect. Mistwalker has been working around the title since 2014, nonetheless the development isn’t a simple port and features taken beyond expected.

In an argument in February of 2016, Silicon studios announced a collaboration with Mistwalker. There’s almost no been aware of that title, and it’s even likely that the console Terra Battle development plus the Silicon Studio collaboration are one and the same. ?All we find out about the collaboration is that it exists, and now we ingested a quick glimpse of the idea while using art from your website (pictured below).

All in every, we don’t know much about what’s to return, just one thing is for sure: with Hironobu Sakaguchi behind the project, it’s likely to be a tremendous hit using the fans. Those itching for that taste of Mistwalker’s offerings can download Terra Battle on iOS and Android or have a look at Lost Odyssey (Free with Xbox Love Xbox One this month!)
