Dark Souls may be a franchise who has traveled down long and winding path. A successor to Demon’s Souls, it been shown to be an unusual hit in the western world. It turned out to be an incredibly successful endeavor with Dark Souls becoming a gaming icon. It spawned two sequels, inspired Bloodborne, and helped codify a different method to difficulty in gaming. Most of the Dark Souls games have obtained a proper amount of DLC support, such as the 4g iphone inside trilogy. However, the story plot is finally coming to a close around the Dark Souls series. The Ringed City are going to be released for Dark Souls III this March, ending the franchise.
The Ringed City will focus on the player character going to the previously mentioned city. Literally around the side of the world, the Ringed City is no safer than in other regions during this series. You will be hunting Slave Knight Gael since he himself mission to find the Dark Soul of Humanity. Brutal combat and exquisite environments were promised, a staple that fans started to expect. Whether this for the Dark Soul is an which will replace the landscape around the world is to be seen. This could contribute to pointless tragedy, fitting the tone from the games. We’ll see.
The previous DLC for Dark Souls III, Ashes of Ariandel, was poorly received. Some enjoyed it, but felt it had become too short due to the asking price.
